Our oncology team supports young adults in their 20s and 30s, and those who walk beside them, navigating life during and after cancer. Our care is evidence-based and person-centered. It is grounded in occupational therapy, lived experience & peer-informed support. We help people navigate what cancer disrupts and rebuild what matters, including everyday routines, work, study, relationships, identity and a sense of meaning.

Balance Haus supports people rebuilding everyday life after illness, injury and major life transition.
Our first specialist stream, Balance Haus Oncology, provides cancer recovery and survivorship support for young adults, young people, carers and health services in Melbourne and online across Australia.

Education and support for families, partners, siblings, friends and loved ones supporting a young person through cancer recovery and survivorship.
Referring a young person for cancer recovery support
Our team welcomes self-referrals, as well as enquiries from health professionals and community organisations. Our support is suitable for young people, and those who support them, navigating what cancer disrupts.
This may include cancer-related fatigue, identity changes, routine disruption, psychological adjustment, return to work or study, and life after treatment.
